Description for Daytona Twin Tec Fully Programmable Ignition

  • 1970-83 models require the additional purchase of a rotor DTT-18004 and VOES kit DTT-18010.

  • Shortening or soldering the wires can affect the integrity of the Unit.

  • To avoid damage to the pick-ups, be sure to align the cutouts in the rotor with the pick-ups. All pick-ups are checked prior to dispatch.

  • Twin plug head models require the purchase of 2x ACL-140407BK and 2x ACL-175093.

  • An upgrade from the non-adjustable stock OEM unit

  • Features advanced electronics set into a billet aluminum housing

  • Four rotary switches are used to set the operating modes (such as single or dual fire), adjust the timing advance, and select the RPM limit

  • Two diagnostic LEDs indicate the status and the state of the vacuum switch (VOES)

  • The status LED is also used to indicate top dead center (TDC) for easy timing set-up\

  • A special feature allows use of the tachometer wire for a link to a laptop PC

  • While the customer does not require the PC link for any normal set-up or operation, it can be used to access additional features for precise dyno tuning (such as programming a custom advance curve and setting rear cylinder timing offset)

  • Windows compatible software is freely available for download at the company website
