Renthal G197 Dual Series UltraTacky Compound Half Waffle Black MX Grips

Purpose built and feature packed following feedback from our championship athletes, the Renthal® MX/Enduro Grip Tech range offers a multitude of compound and pattern options in a full flanged style motocross grip. Tested and refined for decades, Renthal® Grip Tech has evolved into the strongest, most durable, mx grips available. Designed to give riders ultimate control and reduce fatigue with a supple grip surface to perserve their hands. With Original, Dual, Tapered and comfort patterns available, in both traditional glue on and lock-on fittings, there is a Renthal® grip suited to any type of riding and personal preference.

Renthal MX Glue-On Grips are the traditional approach to grip attachment. Using either of the Renthal Grip Glues ensures a solid and permanent bond between handlebar and grip. Renthal Glue-On Grips benefit from having a greater thickness of rubber material between the rider’s hand and the handlebar which provides an additional level comfort over Lock-On grips. Available in five different compounds, across six patterns.

Renthal® Dual Series Grip Tech utilizes a double layer design, using multiple compounds to achieve unbeatbale comfort without sacrificing durabilty. A Firm compound inner core is wrapped with our Soft, Aramid or Ultratacky™ compounds to produce a soft and supple dual compound grip. Comfy and gentle on your hands, offering unbeatable control and reduced vibrations. While the Firm inner core remains tough, to yield maximum durability and install strength.

Dual Compound
With a hard wearing base material and either soft compound, Ultra Tacky™ or Aramid contact patch you get the best of both worlds. The base ensures the grip survives the toughest of punishments whilst the contact patch provides comfort and feel of a soft grip.

Patterns
Half Waffle
Incorporating a full diamond design with a waffle pattern at the finger tips contacts patch. This provides additional mud clearance in a key area whilst not effecting the palm.

Full Waffle
For riders looking for maximum mud clearance the full waffle pattern is designed to purge mud away from the palm.

UltraTacky™
The unique properties of the UltraTacky™ compound provide a stronger bond to the handlebar, meaning you are able to control the bike with less physical input.

The sticky surface lasts the lifetime of the grip. If it loses stickiness, simply wash with clean water and air dry to re-activate.

Aramid Compound
Featuring the most advanced grip compound to date. Millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® brand resin particles are suspended in the base material. As the grip is used, more of these particles are exposed, resisting wear whilst retaining a tacky feel. This is our ultimate grip compound.
